The Everest Base Camp Gokyo Chola Pass trekking is one of the popular and challenging trekking trail in Everest region and one of Nepal’s most challenging treks to the Khumbu Mountains & Sherpa country .The Chola Pass Gokyo trek includes the trekking over the highest mountain Mt Everest (8,848m) and many mountains over 8,000m height such as Lhotse, Cho Oyo, Makalu and Gokyo valley. This unique trek gives you eyeful views of mountain vistas and glaciers. Gokyo-Chola Pass hike trekking leads you through the home of the legendary Sherpa ethnic community living in the high land of the region and takes you to sacred Gokyo Lake, situated in the highest point. The trek offers you enough opportunity to enjoy the amazing view of Mt. Everest including several other similar peaks and explore the Buddhists monasteries and shrines along with extraordinary wildlife.

Short Itinerary

Day 1: Greetings at Kathmandu Airport
Day 2: A full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the capital valley
Day 3: Flight from KTM to Lukla and trekking to Phakding (2652m)
Day 4: Phakding trekking to Namche Bazzar (3440m):5-6hr
Day 5: Acclimatization day in Namche
Day 6: Namche Bazzar trek to Tengboche (3867m):5-6hr
Day 7: Tengboche trekking to Dingboche (4360m):5-6hr
Day 8: Rest day in Dingboche for the acclimatization (4360m)
Day 9: Dingboche Trekking to Lobuche (4940m):5hr
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m), trekking to Everest Base camp (5364m) back to Gorak shep: 7-8hr
Day 11: Gorak Shep trekking Kala Patthar (5545m) and back to Lobuche (4940m):5-6hr
Day 12: Lobuche to Dzongla (4830m)
Day 13: Crossing Chola Pass
Day 14: Thangnak trekking to Gokyo Lake
Day 15: Gokyo explore and trekking down to Dole (4090m)
Day 16: Dole trekking to Namche Bazzar
Day 17: Namche Bazaar trekking back to Phakding (2652m)
Day 18: Phakding trekking back to Lukla (2,850)
Day 19: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 20: Farewell Departure
